Sebastian Iwaniuk

Sebastian is a results-driven recruitment practitioner committed to achieving peak performance through strategic leadership and direction, contributing to operations leadership, marketing, and business development. With 14 years of recruitment experience advising National and International Industry Titans, he has consistently exceeded expectations, delivering exceptional quality direction, boosting efficiency, and contributing to revenue growth through concrete directives. As the Managing Director and Lead Recruiter at Missiles & Moguls Inc. since October 2013, Sebastian has been instrumental in redefining the agency model by introducing a consultative approach to M&A sales. Under his leadership: - Built a client pipeline of 50 large agency clients within a year. - Created 5-10 new agencies in Toronto by incentivizing unemployed executives. - Established and maintained an up-to-date pipeline for clients across Canada & USA. During his tenure at & Mandrake as Team Lead in Management Consulting (May 2010 – Aug 2013): - Billed $1.2 million worth of placements in the first year. - Accelerated new hire recruiters to successful margins by introducing a comprehensive 'how-to' handbook. - Achieved membership in the High Billers Club for three consecutive years. Sebastian's leadership at Genesis Technology Partners as Manager of Human Resources (Nov 2007 – Jan 2009) showcased his skills in staffing, labor relations, and strategic HR management: - Exclusive bargaining agent for the organization and two labor unions. - Created a detailed HR employee handbook with comprehensive policies and procedures. - Implemented an ATS system to accelerate the talent acquisition function for hiring managers. In his role as a Consultant in Strategy & Operations at Deloitte (Jan 2005 – Jan 2006), Sebastian: - Managed external client group strategy, earning recognition for outstanding client engagement. - Grew a book of business from $1.5 million to $3.8 million in one year. - Placed on a fast track leadership trajectory by two separate partners. Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from the University of Toronto. His expertise lies in creating and training top-performing teams, providing staffing solutions that scale businesses, and building talent acquisition strategies for organizations globally. Janine Turner is a seasoned Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) with over three decades of distinguished business and recruitment expertise. Currently at the helm of Missiles and Moguls, she has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in strategically placing key personnel for major organizations in both Canada and the United States. In her role as Executive Vice President (EVP) at Missiles and Moguls, Janine orchestrated the establishment of a highly effective team of three recruiters and researchers. This team played a pivotal role in enhancing the agency's profile and success in placing mid-senior level executives within Public Relations (PR) agencies and corporations across diverse sectors. Before returning to Missiles and Moguls, Janine collaborated with Dr. Richard Hackman at RH Smart Solutions, a boutique recruitment specialist focused on the healthcare sector. Here, she excelled in placing key personnel within the Biotech, Pharma, and Medical Laboratory sectors. With a wealth of experience, Janine served as Vice President (VP) at Mandrake, a prominent privately held recruitment agency, where she led the PR Practice for over 17 years. Her responsibilities included placing top-tier talent in various communication roles, such as public relations, investor relations, government relations, media relations, and marketing. She also co-led the HR Practice across diverse industries. Janine's illustrious career began after graduating with Honors from Seneca College's Public Relations and Corporate Communications Program. She worked with David Bell, a premier boutique public relations and corporate communications recruitment agency, where she spent three years placing mid-to-executive level professionals in PR agencies, corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and professional associations. With over 20 years of recruiting experience, Janine has successfully sourced and placed mid-to-very senior level executive leadership talent in sectors spanning healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, retail, financial services, and not-for-profit organizations. Her expansive national and international network attests to her ability to build enduring relationships with both clients and candidates. Janine's diverse business background includes management roles in consumer products (NEFF), retail/interior design (Ethan Allen and Thomasville), the banking sector (Royal Bank of Canada), and recruitment (Brook Street Bureau, UK), demonstrating her adaptability and proficiency across different industries in both Canada and the UK.
